Hot Sealing Compound

TT Sealing Compound is bitumen based hot applied sealing compound for concrete joints and has the ability to withstand extension without cracking. It has low susceptibility to flow during hot weather conditions. It is durable and plastic and at the same time offer resistance to ingress of solid foreign matter.

1. GRADE A: It is ideal hot pour sealing compound specially rubberized to withstand cracking. Besides having good adhesion to concrete it is also durable and is not affected by temperature changes. It has a working temperature of 175ºC to 185ºC and a density of 1.05 gm

2. GRADE B: It is unaffected by petrol spillage especially jet fuel. It is therefore recommended to use in garages, filling stations etc. It has a working temperature of 155ºC to 165ºC and a density of 1200 kg/cub/m

For theoretical coverage of 100 mtr of running joint per 25 mm depth
for 9.5mm thickness : 30 kg
for 12 mm thickness : 40 kg
for 18 mm thickness : 60 kg
for 25 mm thickness : 80 kg

Shelf Life

12 Months from the date of manufacture when maintain in protected storage in original unopened sealed condition.

Storage Conditions

Store under cover out of direct sunlight and protect from extremes of temperature. In tropical climates the product must be stored in an airconditioned environment. Failure to comply with the recommended storage conditions may result in premature deterioration of the product or packaging.
