It does not have any harmful reaction with drinking water. It is lead free and resistant to acid, alkali etc. It is very effective against corrosion. It is used as a protective coating for concrete and steel structures.

Product Overview
AREAS OF USAGE / UTILITY:
• As a primer on concrete, brick, fiber cement sheeting, timber and other porous surfaces prior to the application of bituminous product.
• As a sealer for planter boxes and garden pots
• For protection of various exterior metal surfaces such as guttering, downpipes, water tanks, troughs, trailers, car bodies and metal type material against corrosion. Not suitable for immersed or UV exposed.Conditions.
• Repairing of existing bitumen membranes and surfaces
• Sealing of tree wounds after grafting or pruning.
• It being non-toxic / odorless, is suitable for coating insides of masonry / steel water tanks.
KEY FEATURES:
• It is easily applicable by brush/spray gun. It dries rapidly leaving black glossy finish.
• The resultant film is tough and elastic and does not crack easily due to structural movements.
• It is resistant to diluted acids and alkalis.

Product Application
SURFACE PREPARATION: –
• Remove all loose gravel, dirt, oil, grease and foreign matter by jet of dry air and clean the surface mechanically or by grinding to make it smooth before application.
MATERIAL PREPARATION:
• Stir Torch Tar Bitumen Paint by a slow speed mixture (approx. 400 rpm) fitted with a suitable mixing paddle to ensure a homogenous mix.
• After stirring, wait for the product to settle in order to let entrapped air escape.
APPLICATION OF MATERIAL
Stir the container before use. TT Bitumen Paint can be applied using brush, roller and conventional spray.
• Brush: For small area only.
• Roller: Thinned to 5% by volume maximum, if required.
• Conventional spray: Use standard and air pressure of 50-70 PSI.
CLEAN UP
While wet, clean all equipment in cold water. If material has dried, use paint stripper to clean.
